Be a Lunch Hero
Every child deserves a nutritious meal to fuel their learning. While many students qualify for free or reduced-price meals, some families fall just outside eligibility guidelines and may struggle with unpaid meal balances.
Through the Lunch Hero program, your generosity helps affected students and families move forward without worrying about an unpaid meal balance. Every contribution helps students stay focused on learning, growing and thriving.

Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application
Families may submit a free or reduced-price meal application through Skyward Family Access .
After signing in:
- Make sure your student's name is selected.
- Select Food Service.
- Select Applications/Add Application.
Only one application per household is needed.
30-Day Grace Period
Students who qualified for free or reduced-price meals during the previous school year retain that eligibility for the first 30 school days of the new school year. A new application must be submitted each school year to continue benefits.

Meal Accounts & Payments
Liberty Hill ISD families can use Skyward Family Access to manage and review student food service accounts.
Families can:
- View daily food purchases.
- Check the current meal account balance.
- Receive email reminders when the account balance drops below a selected amount.
- Deposit funds using a credit card, debit card or checking account through RevTrak .
- Submit a free or reduced-price meal application.
- Set limits for student à la carte and snack purchases.
In-person payments: LHISD cafeterias accept cash or checks.
Low and negative balance notifications are emailed weekly.

USDA Guidelines & Nondiscrimination Statement

The letter must contain the complainant's name, address, telephone number and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights about the nature and date of the alleged civil rights violation.
The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by one of the following methods:
