School Library Advisory Committee (SLAC)
The Liberty Hill ISD School Library Advisory Committee (SLAC) is appointed by the Board of Trustees to support the district in maintaining strong school library collections that promote student achievement, meet applicable state standards, and reflect local community values.
The committee provides recommendations regarding the addition and removal of library materials, including donated materials, as well as policies, procedures, and guidelines related to district library collections.
Committee Membership & Role
The SLAC includes seven voting members who are parents or guardians of students enrolled in Liberty Hill ISD, along with fewer than seven non-voting members who are district employees.
